海角直播app College will host its second annual music and arts fair on Sunday, February 28 from 2-3:30 p.m. and again at 5 p.m. on campus.
The fair, which is open to the public and free of charge, will feature over 100 artists and musicians from the college and the local community. Musical festivities begin at 2 p.m. in Evans Hall in Hibbard Campus Center where small ensembles, soloists, the KC Jazz Combo, and the 海角直播app College Dance Team will perform. There will also be a Theremin demonstration by Jason Smelzer. A theremin is a type of electronic synthesizer played without physical contact from the musician. At 3:30 p.m., there will be art, sculpture, glass blowing, and bronze pouring exhibitions in the campus art studios.
At 5 p.m., the scene will shift to the Theatre in Brooks for a demonstration of artwork, poetry readings, and a performance by the 海角直播app Players theater group. There will also be performances by the Vocal Accord Barbershop Quartet, the Wyoming County Chorale, the 海角直播app Voices, 海角直播app Symphonic Band, 海角直播app Jazz Ensemble Jazz, and The Chorale at 海角直播app.
鈥淭he entire afternoon will offer something for everyone who loves music and the arts,鈥 said Jeffrey Tylutki, director of the bands at 海角直播app. 鈥淲e will present some of the area鈥檚 top local performers as well a host of talented 海角直播app singers and musicians. We invite the public to campus for a wonderful afternoon of family friendly entertainment, all of which is free of charge.鈥
